We left my house around noon after watching Midsommar. We went to Marions to make London fogs and play the craft. It was superb in every way. It was calm on this Saturday, the normal hum of the city was a less distracting than usual, more of a pleasant reminder of life.
I knew it was going to be a good day. |
And after we got there and made the tea, we didn't move. We couldn't, not even if we wanted to.
I was calm laying on the bed, I knew nothing could make me get up for the next 8-9 hours. Which gave me a real satisfaction, a fullness to the experience.
After crafting for about 9 hours the dread of walking home in the cold dark was setting in.

It was time to go home though, so I braved through.
|
I went over around 4 and we made a quick trip to 7-11.
It was pleasant, I didn't feel like I had to say or do anything as we moseyed down Steele under the setting sun. I was numb to the normal horrid everyday throng, I was utterly and completely content. It was me him and the few cars that passed us, it was our time and I knew that. We got what was required and headed home. |
